Pain of our time

    About us

“My name is Liudmila. I am 57. I am an English teacher and the coach of our team “Esperanza”. My motto is: “If children know what to do, how to do and why, they will do it”. I’ve got a family. My family is my husband, my daughter, my son and I. I am positive and creative. I am keen on figure skating: I like to skate, watch figure skating on TV and visit international competitions. Also, I am fond of travelling”.

Anastasia: This year I’m finishing school and going to enter Moscow State University. In my free time I like to watch films and listen to music. In winter I usually go snowboarding. I have taken part in different projects and last year I won the second prize in Moscow with the project “Does movie educate teenagers?” I have been in the Children’s home trying to help little kids living without their parents many times. So I can say: “Who will help if we won’t?”

Alexander V.: I’m at the 10th grade. As for me, sport is great and exсiting. I’m not just a fan, I’m a volleyball and football player as well. Besides, I play the guitar and take part in concerts of our Centre of Education. I have taken part in many IT project competitions and won prizes. I think our project is very vital nowadays, so: “Moscow time is to help!”

Alexander Z.: I’m a pupil of the 10th form. I’m fond of computers and cars. I can’t drive cars but I know much about them. My favourite subjects are Information Technology and Physics. My task in the project is making a Web site. This topic is very interesting for me because I love kids. My motto is: “You are not alone”.

Sophia: I do my best at school. And after classes I practice my skills riding a bike or doing yogic exercises. I also like to read books. Last year I won the second prize at school with this project, understood the actuality and went on studying it. My granny worked in one of the Children’s homes of Chuvashia (a republic of the Russian Federation) and, sometimes, I helped her. My guiding principle is: “It’s better to have a little real heart inside you instead of a big stone”.

Svyatoslav: I’m 16. My grade at school is the tenth. I enjoy playing the guitar. From time to time I take part in concerts of our Centre of Education. I am keen on Structure of the Universe, Iceland and Scandinavian mythology. I have never taken part in international competitions. This project caught my interest and now I can say: “Help can’t be little”.

Veronika: I study at the same grade as Alexander V., Alexander Z., Sophia and Svyatoslav. I’m very communicative and sociable. I get on well with my classmates. There are many interesting places in and near my own city. I am interested in theatres, museums and travelling. I like reading and never get bored of it. I started to work in our team “Esperanza” because I have a great wish to tell all over the world about Russian children living without their biological parents. Now I know: “Everything begins with love”.
